Alufix caters for small parts where the fixture is built up on a grid plate of hole pitch 16mm or 25mm. These smaller fixtures can easily be moved onto and off of the CMM machine using air-driven hovercraft plates. |

Alufix can also hold and locate very large parts such as whole vehicle sides, floor pans or even the whole body. | |||

These larger fixtures are often mounted on sandwich plates and use the larger hole pitches of 40mm & 50mm. The sandwich plates can be fitted with hovercraft elements so that the fixture can easily be moved on and off the CMM table. | |||
