A Thame designed special jaw with carbide inserts. These inserts obviate the need for heat treatment and are easy and cheap to replace when the edges become dull after heavy usage. This two-jaw set is for an indexing chuck. |

A Thame designed clamping solution for the machining of a bearing casing. The bottom jaw is fixed to the chuck face giving a reference point. The top jaw pivots as well as clamps. This takes up any inaccuracies in the casting and ensures proper clamping. |
