![]() |
The GF 140 is a flat plate that freezes when compressed air is applied through a venturi. The plate takes about 50 seconds to freeze and is ideal for difficult to hold parts. Materials particuarly suited are glass, ceramic & stainless steel which are difficult to hold by other methods. | |||

Larger and more accurate plates are frozen by an external chiller unit. Inbuilt sensors direct the coolant medium around the different areas of the plate to maintain a high degree of accuracy of flatness. Recessed plates allow up to 10mm depth of water for fully enclosing delicate parts. |

This air operated chuck is mounted on a lathe. An anti-rotation bracket and rotary coupling permit the part to rotate while the body of the chuck remains stationary. |
