The Clean Tec unit is held in a conventional tool holder with a 20mm diameter bore and can be automatically tool changed by CNC machining centres. When furled, they are only 68mm diameter. | |||

There are 3 sizes of Clean Tec, the larger two can run at speeds of up to 8000 PRM and the smaller one up to 12,000 RPM. Each unit has a through-hole for rinsing and washing out holes and pockets using the 'through the spindle' coolant. |

Using Clean Tec rationalises the cleaning process so that manufacturing time is constant. They remove the need for 'blowing off' using expensive compressed air making a cleaner environment for the operator. Similarly, if touch trigger probes are used in cycle, Clean Tec ensures the workpiece is clean before probing. |
