Inogrip uses similar patented principles to Grip Fix but applies to turning applications rather than milling. | |||

Precise indentations are stamped in the outside diameter of the part only 3 to 5mm in from one end. These indentations are then used for gripping the part while it is being machined. |

Even
though only 5mm of material is used for gripping, the part is securly
held even at greatly reduced gripping pressure. Also, the indentations
are so precise that the part may be removed from the chuck, for
say,
measuring or heat treatment and then re-inserted with a repeatability
of +/-0.005mm |
