The system consists of a micro-adjustable head for holding a range of boring bars. Each head has an adjustment range of approx. 6mm and a plain shank suitable for a standard collet holder. | |||

Boring bars in the smallest range are solid carbide while for larger holes, they take indexable inserts in carbide or cermet. They can have coolant through the tool if required. |

The combination of adjustable head and boring bar is sufficiently economical to leave set for boring holes which repeat. A simple but accurate pre-setter is avialable to assist in rapid setting of the boring bars. |

The adjustable heads and boring bars can be purchased individually or as part of a set. Two sets are available: the starter set and the professional set. |
